CHINA: Service Inventor Remuneration Regulations

On November 12, SIPO made publicly available a draft of the proposed Service Invention Remuneration Regulations.

The draft consists of 46 articles in 7 chapters. The contents include legislative aim, the supervision and regulation departments and its responsibility, applicable scope of the Regulations, definition of an inventor ownership of the rights to an invention.

The service invention system is a basic system for adjusting the ownership the rights and profit distribution, which is closely related to innovation enthusiasm of inventor and enterprise, and constitutes an important part of a country's innovation policy as well.
