English Interface of The China Patent Inquiry System Has Been Launched

(SIPO Web News) In order to meet the actual needs of the international cooperation and exchange of patent examination, as well as the growing inquiry needs of users at home and aboard, the Sate Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO) launched the English interfacethe China Patent Inquiry Systemon November 29, 2012 which aims to further promote the dissemination and sharing of patent information and examination information, to enhance the level of service of the SIPO.

According to reports, the China Patent Inquiry System, which has been opened since April 27, 2012, is operating stably in overall with timely updated data and constantly enhanced functionality. Meanwhile, the System has received widespread attention and praise from the users at home and abroad, as the amount of access to the System and the number of registered users growing monthly. In order further improve the functionality of the System and meet the needs of the users at home and aboard, the SIPO launched the English interface in accordance its overall deployment of development of multilingual interface of the System. Later including Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and other languages interface will be developed and launched.

It is reported thatthe China Patent Inquiry System is designed and developed independently by the SIPO, which has rich and complete basic information and examination information of patent applications. The users can search their required information from the system and then make use of them. The system plays a positive role in enhancing independent innovation capability of the whole society.
